To encourage congregations and conferences to “spread the peace” in and beyond Mennonite Church USA, the Peace and Justice Support Network of Mennonite Church USA has small start-up grants available. Giving to Conference increases in September

Ohio Conference congregations gave $31,459 to the Conference in September, more than in any other month of the 2016-17 fiscal year. According to figures provided by Stan Helmuth, Conference financial coordinator, total receipts for the month of September were $31,477, and expenses totaled $22,354, resulting in a surplus of $9,123 for the month. Forty-five people took part in the second Ohio Conference Year of Covenant Meeting, which took place Sept. 28 at Maple Grove Mennonite Church in Hartville.
