Delegates are representatives from each member congregation of Ohio Conference of the Mennonite Church. Delegates serve as a liaison between congregations and the Ohio Conference, sharing the congregation’s perspectives, as well as keeping the congregation informed about the ministry and mission of the Conference.
To fulfill the responsibilities as a delegate, delegates participate in the following ways:
Stay informed through the Ohio Conference website
Attend fall regional meeting and communicate congregational needs
Read Delegate News
Attend winter regional meeting
Read Ohio Mennonite Evangel
Attend Annual Conference Assembly
Report to congregation about work of Ohio Conference
Talk with congregational Stewardship Team and/or Treasurer about Ohio Conference giving
