ACA Prayer Requests
Ohio Conference’s Annual Conference Assembly (ACA) planning team, which includes its prayer coordinator, would like to encourage your congregation to be in prayer leading up to this year’s Annual Conference Assembly on March 3-4, 2023. We will be sending regular prayer updates on Wednesdays that we encourage you to share with your congregation by making them a part of your congregational prayer lists.

Ohio Conference invites you to cover all of its constituency in prayer leading up to its Annual Conference Assembly on March 3-4. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide this time of discernment. May the Lord direct the Leadership Team, pastors, delegates and congregational members around Conference as we listen for His direction.

Ohio Conference invites you to be in prayer for Kevin Himes, Keith Lyndaker Schlabach, and Miriam Zehr. This group is planning the worship services that will be held at the upcoming Annual Conference Assembly on March 3-4, 2023. Pray that they would feel the Spirit’s leading and direction as they plan these services based on Ephesians 3:16-21 and the theme of Doing Life Together: Rooted and Grounded in Love.

These meetings will take place on Jan. 17 at Maple Grove Mennonite, Hartville; Jan. 19 at Toledo Mennonite; Jan. 24 at Sharon Mennonite; Jan. 26 at Orrville Mennonite; and Jan. 30 via Zoom. Pray for wisdom, especially for Moderator Ken Sims and Conference Minister Dick Barrett as they lead these meetings. May all who attend be covered in the love and unity of Christ.

Pray for wisdom as they compile a plan for living into Conference’s mission statement and future denominational affiliation.
