Open Arms Hispanic Ministry will hold its annual Songs & Salsa fundraiser Sunday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m. at Salem Mennonite Church in Kidron.

Open house planned for Haroldo Nunes and family

An open house will be held for Haroldo Nunes and his family on Sunday, July 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sonnenberg Mennonite Church (14367 Hackett Road, Kidron). Open Arms Hispanic Ministry wants to celebrate and express appreciation to Haroldo for his 17 years of ministry with Open Arms. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Open Arms Board hires new executive director

The Open Arms Hispanic Ministry Board has hired a new executive director. Pablo Delgado will begin as executive director on Aug. 1. MDT awards two Ministry Grants

The Ohio Conference Ministry Development Team (MDT) has awarded two grants totaling $2,750. The MDT approved these grants at its Aug. 24 meeting. Open Arms cancels March 19 banquet

Open Arms Hispanic Ministry has had to cancel its fundraising banquet scheduled for March 19 due to the COVID-19 virus and concern for the safety of many at-risk elderly who attend this event. Open Arms Executive Director Haroldo Nunes said, “We are hoping to have an event in the summer to reconnect and have fellowship with our support community!”

The Ohio Conference Ministry Development Team (MDT) has awarded nine grants totaling $24,750. The MDT approved these grants at its Aug. 19 meeting.
