Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) will celebrate its centennial year with a virtual event on Sunday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

MCC will be broadcasting live from Prairie Street Mennonite Church in Elkhart, Indiana, the site of an important first meeting in the formation of MCC when representatives of various Mennonite and Mennonite Brethren groups met in July 1920.

This livestream event will feature a combination of live and pre-recorded speakers and music. Please use this link to watch the event: mcc.org/gl-centennial-livestream.

The featured speaker for this event will be Sibonokuhle Ncube, director of the Brethren in Christ Compassionate and Development Services in Zimbabwe, an MCC partner. Cyneatha Millsaps and Quinn Brenneke, co-pastors at Prairie Street and MCC alumni, will lead worship. MCC U.S. executive director Ron Byler will help share from MCC’s global history, while musicians from Faith Mennonite Church in Goshen, Indiana, will share music.
