Anabaptist Disabilities Network (ADN) is announcing a new Barrier-Free Grant program that offers financial assistance to congregations for projects that facilitate barrier-free community life.

Some examples of projects which would qualify for this grant are accessible restroom projects, classroom support persons, hearing devices, and mental health awareness events. The grant application lists many other examples of qualifying projects. You may download a grant application at http://bit.ly/ADNGrants.

This grant program is one of several ways that ADN is a partner with congregations to create mutual awareness, caring, support, and accessibility education. Grants range from $100 to $500. Congregations may apply for only one grant per year. Applications may be submitted at any time during the year; however, because there are limited funds available each year, ADN advises congregations to apply sooner rather than later.
