Owl Creek Mennonite Church in Lucasville celebrated the completion of the congregation’s new worship facility on Sunday, Nov. 11. Previous pastors and members were invited to participate in the occasion. Also visiting was Flat Menno, who traveled to Owl Creek with Bob and Dorcas Lemon, a former pastoral couple at Owl Creek. While the Lemons are now part of Martins Mennonite Church in Wayne County, Bob was pastor at Owl Creek for 29 years.

The new worship facility includes a sanctuary with a balcony, foyer, kitchen and restroom facilities.
