Oct. 5-6, 2018, Central Mennonite Church in Archbold is hosting Rachel Miller Jacobs for a one-and-a-half-day workshop titled “Enhancing and Equipping for Worship.” Rachel Miller Jacobs is associate professor of congregational formation at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana.
Break-out workshops, worship, food, and fellowship are planned for this educational and inspirational experience for worship leaders and planners, lay persons and pastors. The Worship Ministry Team at Central Mennonite Church is planning this ecumenical event.
Workshop topics will include worship leading, using the lectionary, hymn leading, visual art in worship, and writing words for worship.
The registration fee for this event is $20 per person for those registering by Sept. 15, and $30 per person for those registering after that date. The registration fee will be waived for all participants ages 20 and under. Registration is open through Oct. 1, 2018.

Bryan Moyer Suderman of Kitchener, Ontario, will visit Summit Mennonite Church in Barberton for the Sunday morning worship service on Sunday, Feb. 18, followed by a community concert for all ages and a potluck dinner.

Bryan Moyer Suderman also will be leading a study of the book of Mark, titled “Reading the Bible with Jesus,” Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-17, at Salem Mennonite Church in Kidron. For more details, see the Reading the Bible with Jesus event brochure.
