Leadership Matters: Finding God in the Changes
Regardless of what organizational structure your church has or seeks to develop, the attitudes and behaviors of church leaders are vital to church health. This retreat will offer time to explore these attitudes and behaviors while creating an environment of hope.
As a system, the body of Christ includes three components: structure, attitudes and behaviors. Though conversations among congregational leaders often focus on the structure of the organization, the emphasis at this retreat will be on the attitudes and behaviors that often have far greater impact on the system than do the structures.
Input speaker: Duane Beck
Originally from the Hesston, Kansas, area, Duane Beck currently lives in North Carolina. He has served in various pastoral roles over the years, including at Bethel Mennonite Church in West Liberty, Ohio. In addition, Duane has experience in various Mennonite Church USA conferences. In the Ohio Conference he served as overseer of the Conference, and as chair of the Nurture Commission.
Registration fee
The registration fee for this event will be $65 per person. The registration deadline is Aug. 27.
