The Great Winter Warm-up
Mennonite Central Committee is kicking off its centennial celebration year with comforter knotting events across the U.S., Canada and Europe. On Saturday, Jan. 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. people of all ages are invited to Toledo Mennonite Church, 5501 Nebraska Avenue, Toledo, for the Great Winter Warm-up comforter knotting event. The Great Winter Warm-up
Mennonite Central Committee is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a comforter-making event. Salem Mennonite Church in Kidron will host this event Jan. 17-18, 2020.
Anyone wishing to participate can knot a comforter at the Kidron event on Friday, Jan. 17, anytime from 1 to 9 p.m. or Saturday, Jan. 18, anytime from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of comforter tops will also be accepted. To learn more about this event, see http://bit.ly/GreatWinterWarmup.
