2021 Annual Conference Assembly
Ohio Conference Constituents,
We are prayerfully preparing for our annual time of worshipful work, centered around the theme “Come and See! The Mission of the Church in God’s Country” based on John 1:35-51 and 1 Peter 3:15-16a. We hope you will plan to join us Saturday, March 6, 2021, for the 52nd Ohio Conference Annual Assembly held for the first time remotely, on the Zoom platform. Our day will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. While the assembly will be shorter than usual, it will still include times of worship, business and table group discussions.
Through the use of Zoom, participants will be able to join the assembly via computer, device or telephone. It is not necessary to have a computer or device to participate. A phone number will be available to call. If you call into the meeting, you will not see others’ videos nor will they see you but you will still be able to participate and communicate with others.
Please note that due to the online nature of this year’s assembly, there will not be any workshops during the assembly. Workshops will be offered at a separate time during the months of March-May. Look for registration information to be available soon.
Immediately prior to ACA, Ohio Conference will again hold a missional conference, also on Zoom. The worship session for ACA will feature a continuation of the missional conference with speaker Brad Roth. We trust you will be blessed by this special addition to our day. In addition, we invite you to bless others during worship when an offering will be collected. The offering this year will be for Ohio Conference’s general fund. For your convenience, there will be an option to participate in the offering at the time of registration.
Our mission is to be a people dedicated to the worship of, faith in and witness for Jesus Christ. We look forward to celebrating God’s goodness together. We hope that you will be encouraged in your faith through our worshipful work in delegate sessions, dynamic worship, and connecting with others from across the Conference.
