Ohio Conference is hiring two positions as it pursues its mission to “Gather, Equip and Send our congregations by the power of the Holy Spirit to live out God’s Greatest Commandments and Jesus’ Great Commission.”

1)  The Administrative Coordinator and Bookkeeper will contribute to the Conference’s ability to successfully achieve its mission by:

  • Being the first connection for those contacting the office via phone, mail, or online
  • Providing support services to staff and leadership teams
  • Setting up and processing registrations for Conference events
  • Managing current and historical files
  • Receiving and processing all revenue and expenses, tracking activities in financial software, filing tax forms, and creating reports that convey current fiscal vitality to leaders and congregations

Minimum qualifications include:

  • A personal Christian faith and involvement in a local congregation
  • One year of administrative office experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping software


2) The Program and Communication Coordinator will contribute to the Conference’s ability to achieve its mission by overseeing equipping events and resources and effectively communicating about Conference to pastors and congregations. They will:

  • Collaborate with the Leadership Council and Program Committee to plan events in support of Conference’s vision and mission
  • Lead the Program Committee, chair meetings, and oversee the work of the committee
  • Assist those with a common mission or interest to work together as ad-hoc committees
  • Provide staff support to Gift Discernment Committee
  • Enlist and develop capacity of volunteers for various Conference needs and events
  • Oversee planning, implementation, and communication for the annual conference gathering
  • Manage the Conference website, social media presence, and print communications
  • Coordinate, in cooperation with other Conference staff, the translation of Conference communication pieces into languages of all OMC congregations

Minimum qualifications include:

  • A personal Christian faith and involvement in a local congregation
  • At least one year of experience in leading teams and/or working with volunteers
  • Experience with website management and in creating social media presence
  • Generate effective communication pieces for all utilized media channels
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Zoom; willing to learn additional applications
