CommonWord, a collaboration of Mennonite Church Canada and Canadian Mennonite University, is offering a new free resource called the Visio Divina Project.

This online resource includes a collection of visual images combined with scripture. The Visio Divina Project is inspired by Ruth Boehm, a pastor and photographer. Boehm invites us to “see with our own heart” using the practice of visio divina, a personal reflective exercise with an image and scripture. You may use her photos and biblical selections as your devotional guide, as an encouragement note for a friend, as a backdrop for worship, or even as an example of a practice you might engage with your own camera and Bible.

In addition to the scripture photos, a guide on visio divina is available. To see more or to download, go to https://bit.ly/VisioDivinaProject.
