KIDRON, Ohio – Using income generated from its Visa card transactions, Everence® Federal Credit Union is supporting local organizations through its Rebate for Missions program.

Salem Youth Fellowship, Camp Buckeye, New Grounds Café and Walnut Hills Employee Assistance Program each received $500 from Everence Federal Credit Union’s Northeast Ohio branches. The four Christian-based organizations were chosen to receive the donations based on their commitment to improving lives in the local community.

Everence Federal Credit Union tithes 10 percent of its Visa credit card income each year to support church and mission work. Everence members choose the charitable organizations to receive the local funds. A portion of Rebate for Missions funds is awarded to two global organizations each year as well.

Since 1995, Everence Federal Credit Union has awarded more than $400,000 to churches, missions and relief organizations locally and around the world.
