Everence is accepting college scholarship applications
Everence is now accepting applications for college scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year.
A college scholarship is one of the potential benefits of doing business with Everence. The Everence scholarship program encourages young people to explore the integration of faith and finances while helping them on their educational journeys. The program is open to Everence members and their children.
Eligible students can be chosen to receive scholarships of $750 from their area Everence office. Three of those recipients then are chosen for additional, national scholarships – one of $1,250 and two of $250 – which means the top three will receive grants totaling $2,000 or $1,000.
Recipients are chosen based on academics, leadership, community involvement and responses to an essay question.
“We look for students who excel in school but go beyond that to get involved in their communities,” said Jim Frado, Managing Director for Everence in northeast Ohio. “Our scholarship recipients set an example by making the most of their time and talents.”
Scholarship funds may be used to pay tuition, book costs and related course fees.
A scholarship application – which includes eligibility details – may be downloaded by visiting everence.com/college-scholarships. Selection criteria and other details are also available on the website.
