Five fall cluster meetings scheduled

Update: The Oct. 19 cluster meeting at Beech Mennonite has been canceled due to low registration numbers.

Please plan to join us: Five fall cluster meetings have been scheduled for delegates to the Ohio Conference Annual Conference Assembly. Each meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately 90 minutes.

Locations are as follows:

• Oct. 19 — Beech Mennonite Church, Louisville — This meeting has been canceled.
• Oct. 21 — Bethel Mennonite Church, West Liberty
• Oct. 28 — Lockport Mennonite Church, Stryker
• Nov. 2 — Orrville Mennonite Church, Orrville
• Nov. 4 — Online meeting via Zoom

Please note that the date of the online meeting has been changed to Nov. 4.

In addition, please note that no snacks will be served at these meetings. Bring your own beverage, if desired.

To assist those hosting the cluster meetings, we are asking everyone to register for these meetings. There is no charge to attend, but we would like to have a count of how many people are planning to attend the meetings. We ask that you register a week in advance, if possible.

Each cluster meeting will begin with a devotional time based on Matthew 28:16-20, The Great Commission. In addition, a number of business items will be covered:

• Missional Resource Team Update, including information about the Missional Discipleship Group Practicum
• Update on Mennonite Church USA’s May 2022 Delegate Assembly resolutions and Ohio Conference Leadership Team’s proposed response moving forward
• Time for Feedback on MC USA Update
• Update on Ohio Conference’s initiatives and upcoming events
• Congregational Sharing

…if you are a delegate to Ohio Conference’s Annual Conference Assembly. Each Ohio Conference congregation is eligible to send at least two delegates and an additional young adult delegate. Credentialed pastors are also delegates, as are individuals serving on the Leadership Team, Ministry Development Team, Credentialing Ministry, Gifts Discernment Ministry and Stewardship Ministry.
