KIDRON, Ohio — Everence® and Mennonite Foundation are presenting a workshop titled Faith and values in the marketplace at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in the Kidron Park Community Building, 4434 Kidron Road.

Christians are called to be good stewards of their gifts from God — including their time and talents in addition to their money. How does that standard relate to the business world?

Three guest speakers will present their views on several topics involving Christian principles and business practices:

  • John D. Roth, historian and author, will talk about Paying it forward – stewardship in the Anabaptist tradition.
  • Bill Mullet, business owner and minister, will address Employment with a purpose.
  • A local Amish farmer and naturalist will talk about becoming A steward of prosperity.

There will also be a panel discussion and time for your questions. Panelists include David King, Malone University; Howard Miller Jr., Hartville Hardware; and Daniel Wengerd, Pioneer Equipment.

Those interested in attending are advised to reserve a spot by contacting David Miller, Everence Charitable Services Representative, at 330-857-9988 or david.miller@everence.com. Please see the workshop flier for more information.
