SUMMARY:Pre-REVIVE Weekend with Howard and Cathy Wagler
DESCRIPTION:Sonnenberg Mennonite Church in Kidron will welcome Howard and Cathy Wagler from Journey Mennonite Church in Hutchinson\, Kansas\, on the weekend of April 6-7. Over the past 25 years Howard and Cathy have helped shape Journey Mennonite into a thriving community of mission-minded believers worshiping at three campuses in central Kansas. They have a passion for leadership development and seeing the Kingdom of God changing lives. \nAll are invited to participate in this event\, which will include four sessions on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On Sunday there will be worship at 9:30 a.m. with an interactive session to follow. \nParticipants will explore what it means to become missionaries in their communities\, seeing their neighbors not as prospects to evangelize\, but as people recklessly loved by God. They will imagine creative expressions of how to fulfill God’s mission in their culture and context. These sessions are a glimpse into a year-long leadership training cohort led by Journey Mennonite called REVIVE. \nThere is no cost to attend these sessions\, but those interested should contact Ellen Nussbaum in the Sonnenberg church office in order to determine an approximate number for the Saturday noon meal\, which will be provided.  Please call Ellen at 330-857-8222 or email her at sonnenbergmc@embarqmail.com to RSVP for the Saturday sessions and meal. \n\n\n	Related
