SUMMARY:Enhancing and Equipping for Worship Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Oct. 5-6\, 2018\, Central Mennonite Church in Archbold is hosting Rachel Miller Jacobs for a one-and-a-half-day workshop titled “Enhancing and Equipping for Worship.” Rachel Miller Jacobs is associate professor of congregational formation at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart\, Indiana. \nBreak-out workshops\, worship\, food\, and fellowship are planned for this educational and inspirational experience for worship leaders and planners\, lay persons and pastors.  The Worship Ministry Team at Central Mennonite Church is planning this ecumenical event. \nWorkshop topics will include worship leading\, using the lectionary\, hymn leading\, visual art in worship\, and writing words for worship. \nThe registration fee for this event is $20 per person for those registering by Sept. 15\, and $30 per person for those registering after that date. The registration fee will be waived for all participants ages 20 and under. Registration is open through Oct. 1\, 2018. \nPlease see the Worship Workshop brochure for more information and a registration form.
